WHERE ARE WE GOING TO STAY IN ITALY?
THE CENTRE
YOGAPULIA is a boutique retreat center dedicated exclusively to yoga and meditation practice. It is located in the tranquil Valle d'Itria in Puglia (Southern Italy), surrounded by beautiful countryside, olive trees, almond groves, and vineyards.
The center is built around historic trulli.
A trullo (plural: trulli) is a distinctive architectural structure made from locally quarried rough stone. These stones are carefully layered without the use of mortar, utilizing only traditional tools and expert craftsmanship. The structure is characterized by thick walls—up to one meter wide—above which rises a conical roof covered in chiancarelle, narrow stone slabs arranged in a circular pattern.
This unique design keeps the interior naturally cool in summer and warm in winter.

THE FOOD

Food plays a central role in Yogapuglia . Food is varied, unprocessed and nourishing to promote energy and wellbeing. It is local, seasonal and plant based. Specialized chefs daily bring their passion and love for healthy, tasty food.
Food plays a central role in both our yoga practice and life. We believe food should be varied, unprocessed and nourishing to support wellbeing and a lifelong practice.
Our food is plant-based, and meals are primarily focused on local traditions and recipes. Brunch and dinner have been developed to ensure the right balance of grains, greens and proteins to promote energy and recovery. We are very fortunate to work with chefs who share our philosophy and bring their passion and love to create healthy and delicious food.
Everything is made on-site and we try to source local, seasonal and organic produce wherever possible. Our vegetable garden and fruit trees also provide during the season – figs, pomegranates, salads, zucchini, herbs, melons, cucumbers, tomatoes… the list goes on!

Refreshments are also available throughout the day and include tea, coffee, water & fruit.

HOW TO GET THERE
By Plane
Yogapulia is easily accessible by taxi from 2 airports: 40 minutes from Brindisi and 1 hour from Bari. We can help to arrange taxis and taxi-shares with other participants. Flights from the UK to Brindisi go via London, Manchester and Birmingham and flights from the UK to Bari go via London.
By Train
Ostuni is the closest station at 20 minutes drive away (we can help to coordinate pick-up or taxi). Trains are an excellent way to travel across Italy if you want to explore this beautiful country beforehand - or embark on an international rail adventure!
Car Hire
We can also recommend local car hire companies who are very reasonably priced. This could be a great way to explore the beautiful region of Puglia in your spare time during the week.

The care, kindness and love Paulina gives to her students warms my heart and make me feel like family."
